Split ends occur when the hair shaft becomes damaged and the tip of the hair splits into two or more sections. They are often caused by heat from styling tools, colour treatments, friction or a lack of moisture, which leaves the hair dry, brittle and dull. To minimise this problem without sacrificing length, the Split End Trimmer is a practical solution: this device cuts only the damaged ends and split ends whilst preserving the hair’s length. Used regularly, it helps keep hair healthier, softer and better maintained.

Instructions
Only use the split end trimmer on clean, dry and thoroughly detangled hair. It is important to brush the hair thoroughly and remove all knots so that the trimmer can glide smoothly and cut only the split ends. For best results, straighten the hair beforehand, as straight strands allow the trimmer to target damaged ends more precisely. Work strand by strandand glide the device slowly. Never force it if you encounter a knot: stop and gently detangle to avoid breaking the hair or damaging the device. After use, it is advisable to moisturise the ends with a serum or oil to help prevent new split ends from forming.
Delivery and returns

Worth the Wait
I’ve been waiting 10 years to buy one and I’m really pleased with it; it works really well, and the battery lasted the whole time I was using it! Make sure you go over the same strand of hair at least twice. The only downside I could mention is that there was more hair in the sink than in the little plastic container. But it doesn’t bother me; it’s no worse than cutting it with scissors and getting hair everywhere !

Effective but Use Carefully
It works well and I have fewer split ends. I think I started halfway down my long hair, and that was a mistake. Now my front strands are cut short, it looks like I’ve had a fringe cut. My hair is softer and no longer needs cutting. A tip: only do this on the bottom 4 inches of your hair. Be careful not to start any higher than that, otherwise your hair will end up shorter.
